What I know about it is: It's impossible to defend.

Do you remember? You never want it.
You must accept that it's not in your hand.
So, face it.

With every word you say I'm getting more sad.
Your words seem far ahead, yet they follow me up into my bed.

Now, we're strong and fearless and we're facing the unknown.
As brave as we are, we defend what's our own ... what is our own.

And, even I want to know.
What is left for me after the show?
I am frightened and full of doubt
by the answer I might have found.

But, although we will all fade away,
there's a law we all must obey.
We're brave. We live our lives day-to-day,
with the knowledge that it could end so fast.
Love, then, would be the only thing that lasts.
